After years of working at some of Saint Louis’s top salons owner Erin Mohr decided it was time to start something of her own. While sitting in a swanky speakeasy style bar in Greenwich village, NYC, she dreamed of the Perfect salon. A salon that would become a place for creativity, inclusiveness, and collaboration, that celebrates the uniqueness in everyone. The bar was named The Up & Up, and upon looking up the definition, Erin knew it was meant to be.
At the Up and Up Salon we believe in empowering confidence through education. Challenging industry norms to elevate the people we serve to reach their full potential. We do this by celebrating uniqueness and creativity all with the highest level of integrity. We believe that when one person rises, we all rise and there is always room at the top.
In our salon everyone is treated with respect, kindness and integrity. Every stylist has undergone an intensive salon training program that teaches them advanced cutting, color and communication skills as well as how to work on all textures of hair. That is why no matter who you see, you can rest assured that you will be in great hands! We are constantly bringing in top artist around the country to teach us the latest trends and techniques as well as sending our stylist to the best academies in NYC and LA. We take great pride in our work, we know it’s your hair, but its our reputation.
Located in the Grove area, the salon is surrounded with art, restaurants, and shops. We are the perfect destination to relax, unwind and rejuvenate!
We are a relaxed, fun and highly educated professionals who offer the high-end level of professionalism and product perfection you would expect from a luxury NYC or LA salon. No details are left unattended. The finish level of services provided is always top-notch. We go above and beyond in our efforts to serve the client.
We are a team: we build each other up, we help each other without being asked and we do not keep score of good deeds. When one person is down, we rally together to bring them back up. Our strength comes from us being a team.
Our awesome products
Primarily a L’Oreal Professionnel salon, we carry 4 lines in the L’Oreal Pro hair color portfolio and 7 different lightenters. This ensures that we have everything we need to tackle any situation. We carry the full line of both L’Oreal Professionnel and Mizani for take home as well as Redken Brews.
