We believe that the salon is not just a place to go get your hair done, it’s an experience. We provide exceptional beauty services with world class customer service; Hot steam towels and aroma therapy provide you with an indulgent experience while styling lessons and online tutorials allows you to take the salon experience with you.
We are an education-based salon company that emphasizes honest and ethical treatment of both the client and employee. We are community-minded, foraging lasting relationships with our clients and local community.
Where We Started
After years of working at some of Saint Louis’s top salons owner Erin Mohr decided it was time to start something of her own. While sitting in a swanky speakeasy style bar in Greenwich village, NYC, she dreamed of the Perfect salon. A salon that would become a place for creativity, inclusiveness, and collaboration, that celebrates the uniqueness in everyone. The bar was named The Up & Up, and upon looking up the definition, Erin knew it was meant to be.

Since opening The Up and Up salon, Erin Mohr has worked tirelessly to change the standards in which most salons operate to create an atmosphere of love, inclusivity, integrity and professionalism.
