Catie has worked at the Up and Up Salon since before we opened in 2020, starting with Erin early 2019!  She became a hairstylist in 2014 and has worked hard to advance in her career, Caite is one of our associate trainers and the manager of our company. When you sit in Caite’s chair you can expect a celebrity like experience with her and her associate, she will make sure you look and feel your very best! She is passionate about using my words and skills behind the chair to build your confidence to new heights! Dimensional color and curly hair life are her favorite creative topics as a hairstylist. She is obsessed with romance novels, and she can’t stop collecting crystals and plants! Her six year old son is the funniest person on the planet, and they love cuddling with their cat and dog at home!

Catie is a L’Oreal Color Ambassador and has attended specialty color classes at the L’Oreal Pro Lab in LA!

We are proud to have Catie as an Associate Trainer in our company. Our Associate program is a specialized training program that all stylist at the Up and Up Salon go through no matter how much experience they have. All associates are fully licensed in the state of Missouri, and could work as a stylist in any other salon. When a stylist chooses to join our program they are committing to spending an extra 6-9 months in training, it’s kind of like getting a Master’s degree in hair! In this program we not only teach them how to elevate their craft (technical skills) but also how to communicate effectively with guest to find out how to best meet their needs. Our associates work alongside the trainers as well as attend monthly classes, taking online classes, taking online certifications and have to test out of each service subject in order to help their trainers with the service. Our stylist come out of our program with the equivalent of 3-4 years experience. we are so proud of this program, it gives us a very high level base line quality and is the reason behind our salon’s success.  Our associates help us give you a better experience and it’s so exciting to watch them grow in their salon journey!
